prospecting nevada

I found a total of 3 oz. in 3 days!
I was training 2 customers with the GP Extemes in the field
They both found 1 oz nuggets also.
The two big nuggets are 1 oz each. The rest total an oz.
Some were found 20" down. My coil of choice was the 11 x 17" mini UFO by Coiltek.
Notice the one looks like the state of California. If the other was turned right it looks like Nevada.

3 NUGGETS FOUND WITH THE MINELAB EUREKA GOLD
METAL DETECTING FOR GOLD
Just received my first inventory of Minelab's new Eureka Gold!
We received three on Monday and all 3 were sold Tuesday morning. I agreed to take two customers out to a
proven area for training.
These are the 2 nuggets one found. We all had a blast.

OVER 200 PIECES
Last July (2001) my buddy called and said "I bought property (out in the middle of nowhere) and there is' a mine on it, come on down" So I did. Just me and my dog and my trailer. Connie and Errol stayed home to mind the store. When I got there, he had already gotten permission to work another area. He pulled out his finds- well over 50 specimen pieces. We went right out, I started finding specimen gold immediately. I found pieces in the wall and on the ground. There were piles of ore full of specimen gold. I ended up spending a total of 4 weeks there. Now I know you are wondering which detector I used.I took White's new GMT, Minelab SD2200D and a Fisher Gold Bug 2. The gold in the area is flat and leafy, I found several nuggets. In total, I found over 200 pieces of specimen gold and nuggets! I was happy! We also explored some old mine shafts, some with old ore carts still there. We also found old miners cabin sites. The Minelab sovereign worked really well here because it totally discriminates out iron, and the multiple frequencies work well. There I found some old miscellaneous relics;buckles and such. Oh- and my friend, he found at least as many pieces as I did. All and all, we had a great time.
