Metal detecting is great hobby. Many people have found rings and
coins of great value. Some other things I have found are tokens, knives, and money.
I even found a buried six-pack of beer at the beach! I hope you enjoy reading about more of my stories.

I started gold prospecting in 1985. I dredged for several years in Oregon, Idaho and California.
We did find gold, then I started metal detecting and that's when I really found nuggets.
THINGS FOUND WITH A METAL DETECTOR
Some of the things I have found -
knives, coins, tokens, buttons, a six pack of beer, old toy cars,
Tokens are a very desireable find. I found a sack of these in an old firepit.Value-$25.00 each
I was using a Minelab Sovereign and a Fisher 1225 that day.
The Sovereign is great detector with 17 frequencies. One of my first Minelab detectors was the
Sovereign, I was really impressed with how it ignored iron. Now, 11 years later, they just keep improving it!
